To get licensed in Ontario, there are two courses available: The Ontario Mortgage Agent Course and the Ontario Mortgage Broker Program.

People interested in applying for a mortgage agent license in Ontario must ensure to first complete the required entry level licensing education. The Mortgage Professionals Canada licensing course follows the regulator-mandated Qualifying Standards for Mortgage Agents (QSMA), and is developed with the assistance of education experts and through extensive industry consultation, to ensure standards align with actual practice. Full licensing details can be found on the Financial Services Commission of Ontario’s website.
